John has been with Sheriff’s Office for 7 years and has worked within the K9 Unit for the last 4 years. He and his K9 partner are certified through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the United States Police Canine Association. He has competed in Field Trials for both Patrol and Explosive Detection and is currently working on becoming a K9 instructor through FDLE. John has completed multiple advanced K9 Courses and is certified in K9 Patrol, Tracking, and Explosive Detection.
